The Record Prophet- A Music Divination Experience

The Record Prophet is an immersive and playful exploration of divination through music. Just as Tarot cards reveal wisdom through symbols and archetypes, Shufflemancy uses songs and their lyrics as messages from the divine. By using a musical playlist set on shuffle play to guide us, we open ourselves to synchronicity, symbolism, and the voice of Spirit carried through the music and lyrics of songs.

In this circle, participants are invited to submit a question for The Record Prophet or request a general reading. Questions will be chosen at random. The chosen seeker will roll the dice to determine how many songs we skip before landing on the message Spirit has for them. Together, we will listen to the song, tune into its meaning, and share our intuitive impressions.

What to Expect
• Opening: A brief introduction to Shufflemancy.
• Group Experience: Collective listening as songs are chosen by synchronicity and Spirit.
• Discussion: Open circle interpretation, where everyone shares what messages, imagery, or emotions the song evokes, and how they might interpret those messages to answer theirs or the seekers question.

Tarot Mysteries: The Major Arcana

This group mentorship session is often taken after Tarot Beginnings, although the two can be taken in either order. The 22 Major Arcana require self-study outside of what will be transmitted in this session, but this two-hour offering introduces the traditional meanings of all of the Major Arcana and several different ways you can connect with them over time.

The Major Arcana are approached through:
- Symbolism
- Archetypes
- Psychological development
- Meditation

The focus is on the traditional meanings of the Major Arcana in the upright position. It will very briefly touch on the concept of reversals, which can be extrapolated to all of the Tarot cards. We will not specifically address the Minor Arcana or Court cards, though it is possible to begin reading with just the Majors. A simple two and three card reading will be demonstrated so that you can begin to use the cards.

Participants should bring a notebook and pen and their own Rider-Waite based Tarot deck. If they don't have an appropriate deck they should reach out in advance to the instructor to get a loaner deck.

Whether reading for yourself or for others, you may eventually get bored with the standard layouts that everyone else uses. This two hour group mentorship session will help you formulate a good question that surfaces the underlying issues. You will explore how to design a customized Tarot layout that gives you exactly the right positions for the cards to answer your question in a deeper, more meaningful way.

We will discuss and practice:
- Structure of a good question
- Getting to the heart of the question
- Selecting dimensions to explore
- Memorable layouts

This offering is for the Tarot reader who has at least some beginning experience with using the cards. Recommended prerequisite is Tarot Insights: Connecting the Cards.

Tarot Insights: Connecting the Cards

The magic in reading Tarot is not in memorizing the meanings of the cards, but in accessing your intuition and being able to hear how the cards are talking to you, and to each other.
This two-hour group mentorship session will focus on:
- Intuitive reading principles
- Seeing the relationships between the cards
- Storytelling with the Tarot
- Reading for yourself and others
One moderately complex layout will be demonstrated so you can practice seeing and understanding the relationships between the cards. If you have not yet completely learned the individual meanings of the cards, you’ll still have more to study before you begin reading the Tarot more naturally, but the principles learned here will provide an excellent foundation to help you become an intuitive reader. Recommended prerequisite is either Tarot Beginnings or Tarot Mysteries for those who don't already know the card meanings.

Healing Your Ancestral Lineage: Integrating Gifts, Patterns, and Trauma

This interactive offering will show you a system for reading the cards that minimizes raw memorization and leverages your intuition.

Experience is gained working primarily with the Minor Arcana and the Court Cards:

There is nothing bad I can say about Crescent Moon Gifts. Everyone is always friendly and any questions you have will be answered. It's about magick, crystals, spirit guides, and so many others, there is someone there who knows the answer. If you like crystals then this is your store. So many different kinds at great prices. It's a great place to go in if it's even to just look around. The worst thing that can happen is you go home with more knowledge, a crystal or two or an amazing figurine or great smelling incense. Want a singing bowl or want to try hands on? Then this is a great place to go. Also try out their monthly meeting and drum circle. I've been to several and loved every minute of it. They offer lots of great classes as well. Something that is sure to strike your fancy. Here at Crescent Moon Gifts, you can't go wrong. Another great thing is the owners only own ONE store so when you purchase something, it helps support a small business. One that everyone in the city loves. It's truly a one of a kind store.
